Out of Hours Learning - Supporting Success
At GDIS all of the core subjects- Maths, English and Science offer after school classes for Year 9 and BTEC/GCSE in Year 10 and 11. This is continued on Saturdays throughout the year when further classes are held for all subjects in the Key stage 4 curriculum and booster classes before the SATs examinations. Extension lessons are held during the Easter and Whitsun Holidays prior to the external examinations to give our students the extra opportunities that they need to make further progress to higher grades.
